Fall is Here!
Here's our class! They are so proud of all of their Fall projects!
Monsters and Goblins! We made these paintings after reading the ABC Monster Book!
Foam Pumpkins! We've learned all about pumpkins, pumpkin farming, and the pumpkin patch! Did you know that a pumpkin is a fruit?
Here is our Pumpkin Seriation project. Seriation is a way of situating an object in a series. This was a really good project to help them with following directions as well as seriation. First, they were asked to color the pumpkins. Next, they cut them out. Once they were cut out they situated the pumpkins in order from smallest to largest. Lastly, they glued them down onto construction paper.
This Halloween Drawing project helped aid students in following directions. Basically, we created five Halloween characters in a step-by-step process using specific colors and shapes to create the final project. The whole class did really well!
Here I am about to read a giant book about pumpkins!
Cute little pumpkins! ;)
Carter, Kamae, Melissa, Josh, Ashlyn, and Nash!

We had a Visitor!
Little Artists
Last Friday, we created drawings of our homes. We were learning all about where different things live. Animals, insects, and people all have all sorts of homes. I explained that even people have different kinds of homes. Some people live in apartments, one-story, or two-story homes, or in small cottages or on a farm, etc. Our class loved talking about where they live and then drawing an interpretation of where they live. They did a great job!
