Winter Pictures!

Happy Holidays!

Winter Wonderland!

Our Little Artist Class is SO talented! Check out their Winter Wonderland Paintings!

Fall!

I found a few photos from November that I hadn't uploaded yet! Enjoy!

This leaf imprinting project was really fun! First, we read a book all about Fall and the changing leaves. Next, we went on a leaf hunt outside. Once, the students picked out their favorite leaves we painted them and made prints. They loved it!

December!

Look at all of these fabulous projects!

My camera died the day of our Thanksgiving party. :(
Thank you to Kerri and Kamae for bringing the most adorable little homemade chocolate pilgrim hats to eat! They were delicious!
We had such a fun day! I took a few pictures with my phone and I may eventually get those uploaded in the future.

Our class has been improving so much! It's so exciting to see each child's individual progress. I keep a record of which letters, numbers, shapes, and colors that they know. I'm so impressed every time I can add to each students list. Each child is developing at their own natural, normal pace and I am so proud of all of them! We have a few students that already know all of the preschool basics! I'm especially amazed at how quickly their little minds soak things up! For those students that already know all of their letters and sounds, shapes, colors, and numbers we've begun sight words, reading, and writing. I love seeing some of their phonetically spelled words. We were just working on an assignment where I had them write down what they wanted for Christmas and here's an example of some of the responses I got, KTE(kitty), BRB(Barbie), and BZ LTYR(Buzz Lightyear). It was so cute and so encouraging to see that they are getting it!
I'm excited to see their continued progress!

Happy Halloween!

We had so many great costumes!

Iron Man

Bumble Bee

Cow Girl

Mr. Incredible

Bat Girl

and another Mr. Incredible!

Knight

Cinderella

We had such a fun Halloween party! We played games, ate treats, made Marshmallow Pops, painted pumpkins, had our faces painted, sang our Halloween songs, and enjoyed recess!

Our class was a little skeptical about trying the spooky witches punch(apple juice)! They all wanted to take a good look before they tried it!

We painted our gourds orange to look like little pumpkins. :)

We played Bean Bag Toss! Nash was SO good at it!!

I'm the CHAMPION!

We enjoyed lots of tasty treats! Yum!

Next we made some tasty treats!
Chocolate Dipped Marshmallow Pops!

The Recipe!

You will need:
White Baking Chocolate(I use Ambrosia)
Orange Food Coloring
Skewers or Lolli Pop sticks
Marshmallows
Sprinkles
Foam to poke your Marshmallow Pops into while the chocolate hardens.

It's so simple!
Melt the chocolate. Stick the marshmallows on skewers. Dip them in the chocolate. Add sprinkles and then poke it into the foam so they can harden before eating.

They LOVED their Marshmallow Pops!

Face Painting!!

What a FUN day! I'm so glad out whole class could be there!
