Well, I'm in labor. So much for coming in to preschool this week. :) I went in this morning for amnio to check the baby's lung development. Afterward, my perinatal specialist sent me to Clovis Community to have a fetal stress test(routine after amnio). I guess during the fetal stress test(NST) I had a contraction and the baby's heart rate dropped a bit too low. So, basically as a precaution they're just going to induce me right now.
So, that means no class until next Wednesday and Friday. I'll give all the parents a 5 day credit in May(you'll pay for 5 less days). I'm sorry for any inconvenience!

Also, any moms that haven't paid me for March yet I'm hoping I can figure out a way to get those checks. ?? Tyson could probably pick them up from you in a couple days or something.

Also, to my Friday only students, Gracie and McKay, you can mail me a check or pay me next month for March. It's up to you. I've already paid my substitutes in cash though so nobody has to pay them anything. It's already all worked-out. :)

Maternity Leave Plan!

I plan to work through the first week of March. Beginning the second week of March, Nicole Jensen will be covering every Wednesday and Friday for 6 weeks. So, from the week of March 9-April 15 I will have Nicole every Wednesday and Friday.
Mercy Vargas will be covering every Tuesday and Thursday class during my leave as well.
Spring Break is April 16-25. So, I'll be off a total of 7 weeks before I return to class.


I don't have anyone available to cover me on Tuesday March 8 and Thursday March 10. Mercy will be getting married on March 12 and is unable to cover it for me. In the event that I go into labor or something and can't make it to class on the 8th or 10th of March I will give a 2 day credit in May to all parents. (You will owe me for 2 less classes.) My official due date isn't until the 20th and I don't know my induction date, yet....So, we'll see! :)
