I LOVE my home!

We read all about where different animals, people, and bugs live. We learned that there are all different types of homes and then we made giant drawings of our Homes!

Melissa's Home!

Flashcards and Rainbow Writing!

Rainbow Writing is a great way to learn sight words! I have the students trace the sight word over and over with multiple colors to help them memorize it. After using several colors on the same word it looks like a "Rainbow".

Numbers, Alphabet, and Shape flashcards! These are fun flashcards because the kids can color them.

I stick their Rainbow Writing and flashcards on rings to keep them together.

We are quickly learning to sound out words and READ! I'm so proud of our class' progress!

The Mitten!

January is here! We recently read 'The Mitten' by Jan Brett and made our very own mittens and filled them with animals!

Great Job!

Shapes, Shapes, Shapes!

We LOVE working with shapes!!

Great Job Melissa!

Great Job McKay and Nash!

Rainy Day Art Work!

We have a new Little Artist in our class! McKay!!

We used Oil Pastels!

This was such a fun project! We made splatter art using a spray bottle filled with paint. The green trays came in very handy and kept this project from becoming a big mess.
Our students loved trying out the spray bottle!
It looks just like rain splatter.

Best Friends!

Our artwork is already displayed in the classroom.
